I bet the boys loved this treat. To much fun!!! Shannon, when Jillian was little I did the same type of idea but we did the sea treats. Jillian's class was studying the ocean and it was around her birthday, so we did this same type of idea with the jello. I bought those swedish fish candies and took fruit rollups and cute out the green ones to mimic sea weed. We got those 3 inch hard clear cups party cups at Gordon Foods and filled everything into those. Just another idea to try, if the boys ever are researching the ocean/creatures and need to make treats for class. Smiles :)
A SAH mom who enjoys being creative with her two wonderful boys. A former elementary teacher that loves to keep her little guys busy each and every day!
That is a neat project!

ReplyDeleteKristy-great idea for using fruit rollups for seaweed. How did you get them to stand straight? I'll have to try someday!
